It was the second part of my first Erasmus+ exchange in Hajdúböszörmény, so I knew what will be happen. I knew we will study about entrepreneurship and the main learning form will be the cooperating form. But we can never plan the future, because it depends on participants, on own personality, mood, on place, whether… I learned a lot about business, promotion, i developed my English skills. But what I learned the most is about people, about me: how can I do it, if I’m not confident because my language skills, my problems, because I don’t know the other participant. In these exchanges, it doesn’t matter who you are or where are you from. The most important is who can you be, and who you are after this one week, with memories, with new friends, with new knowledge, new feelings and aims. So, thank you Erasmus +.

“Do something for yourself and society” was focused on increasing entrepreneurship awareness among youths. There was a Macedonian, Italian, Serbian, Hungarian, Greek and Croatian team, all of us excited to learn new things.
I think that this project greatly fulfilled this goal because we all got familiar with basic needed to start a business. During the whole 7-day period, we all learned and shared knowledge regarding social entrepreneurship but, at the same time, having the most amazing and enjoyable time. At the end, of course, we even prepared a public event in order to show possibilities for starting entrepreneurship and where to find information about Erasmus+ to Hungarian youngsters.
I really appreciated the possibility to participate in this project. I had opportunity make new friends and to establish new connection which could be valuable in future. I really enjoyed getting to know people from other cultures and exchanging ideas and experience with them. I believe that our group dynamic was so diverse, that we were able to share different knowledge and skills. For this reason, I am sure that all of us will always remember this experience; both the fun and the knowledge that we have gained.

I’ve been to various youth exchanges before but this was my first time to go on a youth exchange that had 2 stages so from the start I knew that I would definitely experience something new and step into an unknown territory for me and also this was my 4 time as a group leader so I had even more things on my mind and to take care of which thrilled me. Also a great thing about having an exchange that had 2 stages was that we had more time to get to know each other better, to connect more and the doubled time we had we filled it with laughs, jokes, partying, dancing, singing, hanging out and having a lot of fun and created unforgettable moments and of course as well the days were filled with workshops, team work activities, discussions, presentations, role plays, energizers. We did so many things in those 2 stages and it’s so hard for me to name a few but my favorite activities from which I learned the most were from Serbia: learning of the situation of the youngsters nowadays, the causes and solutions for unemployment, society and entrepreneurship, how to become the ideal entrepreneur and from Hungary: the workshop with the professional presenter who taught us some pitching and presentation skills and tricks how we can be better, we learned about the elevator pitch, using properly our body language and hand gestures, how to be better storytellers and many more things and I really learned a lot from that day that I can use for the future. I definitely created amazing memories, I have new friends now from Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Greece, Italy and Hungary, I learned a lot of new things, got new skills and tools for the future, improved myself on every field and I’m a better person, team player, leader, future entrepreneur maybe and just a better human being now.
