Our organization’s main objective is to help young people, broaden their horizon, develop their competences, inspire them, motivate their mobility through international exchange programs and projects. We would like to ensure active cooperation between the youth and youth workers who can support them with career choices, job search assistance.

WHO ARE WE?
We intend to provide them recreational, cultural and sports programs that promote equal opportunities and help them to develop their personality, healthy lifestyle. We also would like to give the chance to young people with fewer opportunities to participate in youth exchanges.
We have a good relationship with other NGOs in Hungary and abroad as well, our aim is to expand our relations, we would like to cooperate with other organizations, local governments, educational institutions on domestic and international level.
Leisure and Pleasure - Ifjúsági csereprogram
We also would like to give the chance to young people
with fewer opportunities to participate in youth exchanges.
WHAT DO WE DO?
Our NGO is really young, it was established at the beginning of 2016, so it does not have yet many relevant activities. The organization’s first youth exchange (Do something for yourself and society!) was held in September and November, it was a 2 stage program. The project was about youth unemployment, social enterprises. In 2017 we held 4 YE:
1. DUDE! – Discover, Understand, Diversity, Erasmus – 2016-3-HU02-KA105-001991;
2. U can touch this – 2016-3-HU02-KA105-001989;
3. M&M’s – Media & Me – 2017-1-HU01-KA105-035676;
4. Family portrait – 2017-1-HU01-KA105-035672.
BUT! Our project coordinators and youth workers have experiences in a lot of projects, in the following topics:
– environmental protection
– gender equality, human rights
– unemployment
– traditions
– cultures, subcultures
What about our staff?
We have two project managers who fully coordinate
our projects, from the very beginning to the follow-up.
They coordinated many youth exchanges with other
NGOs, for example:
– “Move Out!” – sports, healthy lifestyle
– “No money No honey” – young people and financial knowledge
– “Green heritage” – environmental protection,creative recycling
– “Once upon a life” – self-improvement with drama, through fairy tales
– “Should I stay or should I go” – unemployment, working abroad
– “Mixing cultures” – cultures, traditions
– “Let’s see more clearly!” – subcultures
– “In the footsteps of tradition” – cultures, traditions
– “BridGender – We are equal” – gender equality
WHAT OUR VISITORS SAY
Recognition determines success and power.
I think that this project greatly fulfilled this goal because we all got familiar with basic needed to start a business. During the whole 7-day period, we all learned and shared knowledge regarding social entrepreneurship but, at the same time, having the most amazing and enjoyable time. At the end, of course, we even prepared a public event in order to show possibilities for starting entrepreneurship and where to find information about Erasmus+ to Hungarian youngsters.
I really appreciated the possibility to participate in this project. I had opportunity make new friends and to establish new connection which could be valuable in future. I really enjoyed getting to know people from other cultures and exchanging ideas and experience with them. I believe that our group dynamic was so diverse, that we were able to share different knowledge and skills. For this reason, I am sure that all of us will always remember this experience; both the fun and the knowledge that we have gained.
Thank you FIRKA Ifjúsági Egyesület for having organized this opportunity for us!
