The youth exchange „Equality is priority” took place in Hajdúböszörmény, Hungary, between the 21st-28th April, 2018. The project was organized by FIRKA Youth Association, and it was supported by the European Union ERASMUS+ programme.
The goal of the programme was to share a broad knowledge with the participating young people, and get experience on the topic of equality and inequality. They could put themselves in the situation of those people who are the most affected with inequality, they could get to know the opinion of other people. Then, on the basis of these experience and knowledge, they were working on solution strategies using brainstorming methods, and developed an imaginary movement, in which they have built these strategies. The main goal of the programme was to motivate young people to active citizenship and social responsibility.
